I miiiight just manage with operation_kino, if I bribe the mod I know irl with some RPS ;-)) Maybe. Hm, maybe a comparative picspam of smoking porn? The things this man does with his cigarettes and matches.... Yep, I could do that, soon as I figure out the technology bits. Got any good suggestions as per screen-captioning software?
And be sure to tell me how you like it so far - I've got nobody to squee about it with except Linndechir (who is well and truly converted and initiated but busy with university stuff) and, well, my dad. Can't squee to him about the slash, though. Not only will he disown me - he will simply cry. I won't rape my daddy's childhood. Can't do it to him. (But seriously, he fanboys Stierlitz as hard as my pink fangirlsquee-icon. When he learned I was in hospital two years ago, and called me, his first words were not "omg my child how are you" but "omfg squee squee you are in the same hospital as Cat from 17 moments omfg how awesome!" No kidding. The Charité is one hell of a pretty hospital though, I'll grant that. And running around Berlin recognizing this or that building is fun, too...)
I keep tempting Linn to write Stierlitz/Hellstrom, and she's swaying... but she's an old review-whore, no offense meant, and will only write it if people review it and fangirl along, alas...

NGH, smoking picspams. One of my favourite weaknesses. As for screencapping software, I tend to use either VLC player, which is good for single caps, but not so good for capping one frame after another. I tend to use either PowerDVD or Nero Showtime time. However, if you don't want to download anything, you can always use your print screen key, even though it is a lot more time consuming to do it that way.

I haven't watched the first part yet, as I got distracted by zombies, but it's my list of things to do tonight, and after I watch ot I'll definitely let you know what I think. :) And yes, I know what you mean about dads not understanding the slash. My dad, for example, loves Hot Fuzz, but would be more than a little disconcerted if he was exposed to the slashy truth subtext about Nicholas Angel and Danny Butterman. ;p

And if I see the Stierlitz/Hellstrom, and I like what I see, then chances are likely that I'll be writing it. ;)
