NGH, smoking picspams. One of my favourite weaknesses. As for screencapping software, I tend to use either VLC player, which is good for single caps, but not so good for capping one frame after another. I tend to use either PowerDVD or Nero Showtime time. However, if you don't want to download anything, you can always use your print screen key, even though it is a lot more time consuming to do it that way.
I haven't watched the first part yet, as I got distracted by zombies, but it's my list of things to do tonight, and after I watch ot I'll definitely let you know what I think. :) And yes, I know what you mean about dads not understanding the slash. My dad, for example, loves Hot Fuzz, but would be more than a little disconcerted if he was exposed to the slashy truth subtext about Nicholas Angel and Danny Butterman. ;p
And if I see the Stierlitz/Hellstrom, and I like what I see, then chances are likely that I'll be writing it. ;)
